Phillip Le, MD, PhD, is a clinician and researcher with specialized training in bioengineering and genetics. Clinically he specializes in the treatment of retinal disorders such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and inherited macular diseases, among others. In his research at the Doheny Image Reading Center (DIRC), Dr. Le uses advanced imaging technology to view, measure, and analyze minute structures of the eye that are affected by retinal disease. He also studies the impact of experimental therapies on retinal disorders.
